Data Scientist ( Production Efficiency )

Lufthansa Systems Poland is a recognized provider of IT solutions and services for the aeronautical, logistic, and financial industries. It is part of the Lufthansa Group and implements technological solutions and dedicated services.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience designing and implementing AI/ML solutions for business use cases.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, generative AI, and computer vision.
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP) and cloud solution architecture.
• Experience building data integration pipelines and deploying MLOps solutions.
• Strong Python skills, including data science libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Very good command of English (B2/C1).
• Readiness to work in a hybrid model: 2 days in the office in Gdańsk.

Nice to have:

• Experience in aviation or related industries.
• Knowledge of Polish.

• Develop data-driven solutions using machine learning, computer vision, and generative AI.
• Analyze aviation data and transform it into innovative products and use cases.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and design AI-based solutions.
• Lead projects from discovery and prototyping through production deployment.
• Build and maintain cloud-based machine learning solutions and data pipelines.
• Contribute to solution architecture, data ingestion, and production-ready MLOps pipelines.
