RPG Developer

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. They focus primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Commercial experience with RPG (RPG/400, ILE RPG, free-format RPG)
• Good knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) environments
• Practical experience with applications based on the 5250 interface
• Experience working with REST API and system integrations
• Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats
• Understanding of application maintenance and support in an enterprise environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in distributed, international teams
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position

• Develop, maintain, and expand applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform
• Work with RPG (RPG/400, ILE RPG, free-format RPG) to support and develop key business logic
• Analyze, diagnose, and optimize existing transactional systems
• Design and implement integrations using REST API, JSON, and XML
• Support modernization and migration initiatives on the platform
• Ensure stability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting key business processes
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
