Performance Test Engineer

Deloitte is hiring for a role focused on ensuring the scalability, stability, and reliability of enterprise applications built on SAP technologies and cloud platforms. The position involves working within an Agile Scrum team of 10+ members in an international and collaborative environment using modern cloud technologies and CI/CD practices.

• 3-6 years of experience in performance testing or quality engineering
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools
• Experience with scripting/automation using JavaScript or similar languages
• Good understanding of REST APIs and web services
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and GitHub workflows
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
• Knowledge of SAP BTP, CAP, or Cloud Foundry is considered an advantage

• Design and execute performance and load tests for REST and OData services
• Create and maintain automated performance testing scripts
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements
• Work with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, Gatling, or similar
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to improve application scalability and reliability
• Monitor system performance and provide optimization insights
