Software Engineer with Frontend Focus

• Solid experience developing web-based software with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong academic background in Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript fundamentals, core Web APIs, HTML, and CSS.
• Good knowledge of React and modern front-end development practices.
• Genuine interest in accessibility and writing software that works for everyone.
• Thoughtful approach to engineering, considering trade-offs and maintainability.
• Hands-on team player with excellent communication, problem-solving, self-organization, and analytical skills.
• Practical understanding of AI tools and their use in everyday engineering.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn continuously.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing APIs or libraries consumed by other developers.
• Experience building platforms, SDKs, micro-frontends, or plugin systems.
• Experience with Node.js tooling, modern build systems, or monorepo setups.
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

• Design and ship platform-level features end-to-end, from design and implementation through testing and release.
• Help shape APIs that other engineering teams rely on, ensuring backward compatibility and clear contracts.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, design decisions, and code reviews.
• Work in a modern web stack using TypeScript and React alongside supporting technologies.
• Ensure fundamentals of the web such as semantic HTML, CSS, accessibility, and performance are maintained.
• Collaborate closely with a team of engineers valuing teamwork, code reviews, and end-to-end software building.
• Work on architecture that supports apps built by many teams, providing a secure and reliable user experience.
