Staff Platform Engineer

IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.

• Strong experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Solid understanding of Linux-based systems, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Experience supporting data or analytics platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Essential Functions:

• Design, implement, and operate internal platform services such as cloud infrastructure, data platforms, CI/CD, and automation.
• Own and evolve platform components with a product mindset focusing on reliability, security, scalability, and usability.
• Collaborate with software, data, and DevOps teams to enable self-service provisioning and standardized platform usage.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code and scripting.
• Support platform adoption, troubleshooting, and operational stability, including incident and problem resolution.
• Contribute to platform architecture, technical standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
