Senior RPG Engineer

ITFS is involved in the maintenance and modernization of a Transport Management System (TMS) that is being consolidated into a single SaaS platform.

• Commercial experience with RPG (RPG/400, ILE RPG, free-format RPG)
• Good knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) environments
• Practical experience with applications based on the 5250 interface
• Experience working with REST API and system integrations
• Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats
• Understanding of application maintenance and support in an enterprise environment
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in distributed, international teams
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level

• Developing, maintaining, and expanding applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform
• Working with RPG (RPG/400, ILE RPG, free-format RPG) to support and develop key business logic
• Analyzing, diagnosing, and optimizing existing transactional systems
• Designing and implementing integrations using REST API, JSON, and XML
• Supporting modernization and migration initiatives on the platform
• Ensuring stability, performance, and reliability of systems handling key business processes
• Participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design
• Close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
