Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer

Medihive builds state of the art, award winning telemedicine solutions. The software creates Virtual Clinics for medics, clinics, hospitals, insurers and health systems allowing them to engage, triage and treat patients online. The company's software helps the medical community safely treat patients and save lives, optimizing clinical communication and improving patient outcomes.

• At least 5 years commercial Ruby on Rails experience
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent understanding of SQL and comfortable using Linux
• Full-stack developer able to deliver functionality with minimal help
• Understand and use Object Oriented Programming concepts
• Appreciation for good code level testing
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:00 Irish Summer Time / GMT

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud-based software like Azure
• DevOps experience, especially knowing Ansible
• Knowledge of Turbolinks or Turbo
• Familiarity with Hotwire and Stimulus
• Experience with Kamal
• Experience with React.JS

Candidate must be based in the EEA (European Economic Area)

• Work with the Product Owner to design and implement new features and applications
• Fix bugs in existing application
• Write tests and execute them on CI
• Test features manually on staging environment
