Mainframe Business Expert with German (m/f/d)

Commerzbank is a leading international commercial bank with branches and offices in almost 50 countries. The company is undergoing a digital transformation and works in inter-locational and international teams using agile methodologies. This role is within the PUK segment, focusing on data sources like PC-RB Datamart and the legacy data warehouse CODABAS at Commerzbank.

• German language proficiency at B2+ level
• English language proficiency at B2/C1 level
• Strong analytical skills
• High knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of z/OS and DB2
• Good knowledge of COBOL programs and basic structure/functioning of mainframe applications

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Excel
• Basic knowledge of Data Modelling Fundamentals
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing / Data Lake Concept
• Experience with cloud solutions, preferably GCP
• Experience in the banking sector
• Basic knowledge of Rumba, DB2 Catalog Manager, PowerDesigner, Aqua Data Studio

• Clarification and analysis of requirements for products
• Creation of (technical) designs and specifications
• Data modelling and DB2 table design based on technical requirements
• Further development and maintenance of the data model
• Business and technical data analysis
• Support and quality assurance during development, testing, and go-live phases
• Processing of requests for PC-RB Datamart and CODABAS including evaluation of data
• Providing advice and support to stakeholders
