• Extensive experience in C# programming language (.NET/.NET Core)
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and image processing algorithms
• Experience with raster image processing and manipulation
• Familiarity with image file formats, including TIFF, JPEG, and PNG
• Knowledge of multithreading and parallel processing
• Experience with SQL and large storage database management (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with .NET libraries such as ADO.NET, Entity Framework, or Dapper
• Familiarity with the gRPC protocol

Nice to have:

• Experience with image processing libraries, such as OpenCV, EmguCV, or ImageMagick
• Experience with healthcare image processing or Zeiss CZI format

• Develop and maintain a high-performance image processing system capable of processing up to terabytes of 3D images and raster images per day with 24/7 availability
• Implement algorithms for image segmentation, feature extraction, and object recognition
• Develop back-end tools and applications to visualize and manipulate 3D images and point cloud data
• Optimize processing speed and memory usage
• Implement database management solutions for efficient image data storage and retrieval
• Implement integration with embedded devices via gRPC protocol
• Collaborate with microscope hardware engineers to ensure seamless system integration
