(Senior) Data Engineer - Freelance

Netguru is a consultancy, product design, and software development company founded in 2008. Its technology stack includes Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React.js, React Native, Kotlin, Vue.js, Python, Django, and Elixir.

• Minimum 4 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer.
• Deep expertise in the AWS tech stack including Glue, DMS, Redshift, and S3 with proven project experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Scala, and Bash; with Scala for production data transformation and CDC, and Bash for CI/CD operations.
• Ability to navigate and manage full data lifecycles within AWS beyond typical DBA tasks.
• Knowledge of building crash-resistant, idempotent pipelines with optimized Spark jobs using partitioning, columnar formats like Parquet, and broadcast joins.
• Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills with a passion for data.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English at C1+ level.
