Data Engineer

FUN CRAFTERS SP. Z O O. is a company developing a data platform for mobile gaming experiences, focusing on analytics and LiveOps for their games.

• 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering building scalable data platforms and pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in Python; experience with Scala is a plus.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and analytics best practices including schema design, partitioning, and versioning.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and modern data stack tools.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT orchestration tools like Airflow or similar.
• Ability to develop and maintain systems from early MVP to high-volume production.
• High collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for games.

Nice to have:

• Expertise in event streaming technologies such as Kafka or similar and real-time data processing.
• Experience in gaming, mobile products, or other high-event-volume environments.
• Knowledge of BI tools and analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with observability practices (logging, metrics, tracing) and data quality frameworks.

• Build the analytics platform powering gameplay insights, LiveOps, and telemetry.
• Develop and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines transforming raw gameplay data into clean, structured datasets.
• Track and maintain data quality standards with automated monitoring, alerting, and validation systems.
