Senior Node.js Developer

ASPER BROTHERS is a dev shop/software house based in the center of Warsaw, working with clients worldwide across industries such as HR, Automotive, Marketing, Medical, Real estate, Non-profit, and Security. Their technology stack includes Python, PHP (Laravel, Symfony), JavaScript (Node.js, Vue.js, React.js), and Flutter. The team consists of 25 people working both remotely and on-site.

• Extensive software engineering experience (5+ years)
• Strong knowledge of large-scale architectural patterns, event-driven microservices, APIs, and algorithms
• Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, MongoDB, message queuing systems, and Kubernetes
• Professional attitude towards software craftsmanship including testing
• Working proficiency in verbal and written English

• Build quoting and routing algorithms for global goods movement pricing and process live tracking data of ships, trucks, and airplanes
• Automate logistics processes to increase automation from 5% to 90%, eliminating manual communications
• Develop scalable event-driven microservice architectures using patterns like CQRS and event sourcing
• Lead engineering-wide initiatives and coordinate with various teams and stakeholders
• Write concise Architectural Decision Records (ADRs)
• Mentor engineers of different levels
• Continuously improve and refactor critical components of the platform
