Manager, Data Analytics Consulting

EPAM Data Practice focuses on helping customers create information strategies, design data platforms, and support data-driven enterprise transformations, with a strong emphasis on the Life Sciences industry.

• 7+ years of total experience in data and analytics domain
• 3+ years in management, delivery, consulting, or presales roles
• 5+ years in the Life Science industry or working with Life Science clients
• Knowledge of Life Science areas (e.g., clinical trials, R&D, Commercial, Regulatory & Compliance)
• Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders and end-users
• Ability to facilitate and drive strategy discussion
• Ability to participate in and influence solution design discussions
• Solid knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends
• Experience in end-to-end data and analytics project delivery (data lake, DWH, advanced analytics, BI/reporting)
• Excellent communication skills and dynamic presenting ability
• Ability to manage customer expectations and explain project deliverables to senior stakeholders
• Ability to frame presales opportunities into customer engagements
• Primary career focus on Data & Analytics areas: Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Science & Predictive Analytics
• Experience managing medium to large-scale software/technology initiatives
• Passion for Data & Analytics space and desire to learn new technological trends

• Engage with customer business stakeholders to discover Data & Analytics opportunities
• Lead and challenge team members and customers to create great strategies and solutions
• Map customer vision & requirements to specific products and components
• Act as a data advocate and work to remove business, technical and political roadblocks
• Mentor and coach clients and team members in data & analytics best practices
• Manage consulting engagements, overall delivery and the quality of the output
• Ensure the strategy is actionable and well documented for a clean handover to implementation
• Assemble a team of EPAM analysts & engineers to deliver MVPs
• Work with account managers to build and manage customer relationships
• Design and drive stakeholder workshops & interviews to define and prioritize client needs
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design solutions driving business value
• Work with business development on proposals and pitches for new business
• Respond to RFxs, create proposals and present them to potential clients
• Own and drive Data & Analytics presale activities in the Healthcare vertical
