QA Manager: Quality Architecture & Agentic Testing

• 7+ years in software engineering, Automation Quality Engineering (AQE), or SDET with a career trajectory toward quality leadership.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in Java, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript with capability to design novel automation solutions.
• 3+ years direct management experience of AQE or engineering teams including hiring, performance, and career development.
• Strong skills in automation architecture, with emphasis on designing test frameworks rather than just writing tests.
• Proven ability to lead quality initiatives and manage change resistance.
• Experience building and deploying agentic testing systems integrating AI agents and handling non-deterministic outputs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration and quality-by-design principles.
• English language proficiency at B2 level or above.

• Own quality architecture including frameworks, toolchain, and roadmap from traditional automation to agentic solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of 6-10 Automation Quality Engineers, providing technical direction and running hands-on pilots.
• Maintain and evolve the existing test automation framework using Java, JavaScript, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Co-design deterministic agent workflows and LLM-assisted testing approaches with human-in-the-loop governance.
• Develop observability and reporting tools such as coverage dashboards, flakiness detection, and CI quality gates.
• Test AI-powered features with behavioral validation and non-deterministic regression.
• Build internal tooling to enhance quality consciousness across the engineering organization.
