Senior Data Engineer

• Experience with Python, Scala, or Java
• Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Apache Flink, or Apache Beam and pipeline orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi
• Knowledge of message brokers and distributed streaming platforms
• Experience with databases including SQL, NoSQL, and open formats
• Proficiency with development tools such as Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jira
• Experience with cloud infrastructure/services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of data privacy and security principles
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and data modeling
• Familiarity with data development principles and processes
• Experience in writing requirements and documentation
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD/CD
• Familiarity with DataOps, Data Lake, Data Mart, and Data Mesh/Data Hub principles

Nice to have:

• Experience with AWS Redshift, AWS Glue, S3, EMR, DMS, QuickSight, MWAA

• Maintain the data platform ensuring timely and quality data
• Plan and execute data platform expansion and define internal standards
• Build and maintain data pipelines from databases and SaaS applications
• Write maintainable, performant code and maintain documentation
• Stay updated with advancements in data engineering practices
• Solve complex technical problems
• Implement the DataOps philosophy
• Design and develop code to extend the enterprise data model
