IT Manager (Insurance industry)

Additionally, we use AI not only to increase efficiency, but also to build new competencies and develop modern ways of working. We collaborate with numerous insurance companies in Poland and are currently expanding our operations dynamically into international markets. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an IT Manager to join the team delivering projects for the insurance industry.

• At least 5 years of experience in managing IT projects or teams, preferably in financial or insurance sectors
• Experience in a team management role (line management or delivery management)
• Ability to combine technological, business, and organizational perspectives
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence (or similar)
• Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholders
• Capability to analyze risks, make decisions, and operate effectively in dynamic environments
• At least B2 level of English proficiency

• Experience working with international clients
• Certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2, Agile

• Manage the IT team to ensure employee motivation, competency development, and engagement
• Manage IT projects from concept through delivery, implementation, and further solution development
• Act as main point of contact for clients and lead project communication
• Monitor business needs and manage client expectations
• Develop relationships with assigned clients and identify new needs and revenue opportunities
• Support clients in shaping development strategies and propose solutions for organizational and market challenges
• Act as internal Product Owner within delivered projects
• Provide insights into client structures, decision-makers, new initiatives, and competitive activities
• Support sales processes, including preparing offers, solution concepts, and estimations
• Design, audit, and validate solutions, selecting appropriate technologies and assessing feasibility
• Manage financial performance of projects and project portfolio
• Implement and enhance software development best practices to ensure quality and efficiency
• Plan career paths, conduct competency assessments, and recommend promotions and salary increases
• Participate in recruitment processes and manage team member allocations and task assignments
