QA Tech Lead - (Backend)

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as QA Lead or similar with at least 5 years in quality assurance or software testing in web microservices environments.
• Strong expertise in testing modern tech stacks with emphasis on web-based architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards, agile methodologies, and SDLC related to QA and testing coordination.
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Python) to develop and maintain automated test suites.
• Familiarity with modern tools and frameworks used in web microservices development.
• Advanced investigative and troubleshooting skills and effective communication of technical issues.
• Exceptional mentoring and communication skills collaborating across multiple business units.

• Establish and promote standards for comprehensive automated tests design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Coordinate testing processes and methodologies across business units.
• Guide development of automated tests and frameworks for functional, regression, performance, and load testing.
• Oversee testing infrastructure coordination ensuring observability and rapid feedback.
• Collaborate with teams to understand product requirements and design unified test strategies.
• Coordinate rollout of test strategies, including development of test plans and standardised metrics.
• Compile and synthesise test results into reports and dashboards for informed decision-making.
• Monitor and analyse aggregated test results to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide mentorship and guidance organisation-wide to foster learning and quality assurance culture.
