AI Researcher – Semiconductor & Materials AI (Shenzhen Residency)

The company is expanding advanced research activities and seeks researchers with expertise in AI-based circuit design and AI-driven material simulation and modelling.

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
• Experience with machine learning including deep learning, generative models, optimization, reinforcement learning, or physics-informed ML
• Practical experience in circuit design automation or materials simulation/modelling
• Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Strong analytical and research mindset
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Experience with semiconductor design tools
• Experience with multiphysics simulation tools
• Publications or patents in AI and hardware/material domains

• Work on AI-based circuit design including EDA, optimization, layout automation, and verification
• Develop AI-driven material simulation and modelling using physics-informed ML, generative models, and surrogate modelling

This role requires relocation to Shenzhen, China for a minimum of 12 months. After the initial period, employees may continue working in Shenzhen or from TCL Research Europe in Warsaw, Poland.
