Cloud Architect

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect (previously as Software Architect).
• Very good knowledge of front-end, back-end, and integration architecture and cloud-native solutions (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift).
• Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Crossplane), networking technologies and service mesh (Istio, Envoy, OVN-Kubernetes), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Knowledge of DevOps/GitOps, CI/CD, GitHub, IAM solutions (Keycloak), databases (PostgreSQL, Ceph), and programming in TypeScript and Go.
• Experience in automated testing (SDLC), working in Agile, and very good communication and mentoring skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift AI.
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation.
• Knowledge of advanced cryptographic and data protection solutions such as Cosmian.
• Experience designing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience implementing internal architecture standards and management models.
• Previous experience working in regulated industries (finance, telecommunications, public sector).

• Designing and taking responsibility for comprehensive software architectures for scalable, secure, and available systems.
• Creating and developing architecture patterns (microservices, modular monolith, event-driven, API-first) and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Making architectural decisions in front-end, back-end, integration, and platform layers, including cloud-native architectures on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Ensuring emphasis on scalability, availability, performance, security, and operability, including observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
• Defining API standards, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and test automation strategies (unit, integration, E2E).
• Creating architecture documentation and ADR, mentoring teams, and collaborating in an Agile environment.
