Lead Software Engineer

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in Java 11+ (Java 17+ preferred).
• Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (Oracle preferred).
• Solid understanding of RESTful microservices and APIs.
• Experience in DevOps delivery teams is a plus.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, and HTTP web technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Git.
• Full proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Background in payment systems or financial services.
• Exposure to automation testing frameworks.

• Lead and mentor a team to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Build and support services, microservices, and applications (back-end & front-end) using Java 11/17/21, ReactJS, and other modern technologies.
• Drive migration from mainframe and IBM WebSphere to modern architectures using APIs and microservices.
• Implement automation testing frameworks to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Enhance Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities of services.
