Senior Camunda/Java Developer

ITFS is a consulting company based in the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. The company focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe in the financial sector.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Developer
• Several years of experience working with Camunda 8 (Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist), including designing and implementing complex end-to-end business processes
• Very good knowledge of Java (8+)
• Experience modeling business processes using BPMN 2.0, DMN, and CMMN
• Knowledge of microservice architecture and Camunda integration with other systems including REST API, External Tasks, and Zeebe
• Ability to create and deploy custom workers and plugins in Camunda to automate and extend platform functionalities
• Experience with development and DevOps tools including Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of MSSQL databases
• Ability to debug and optimize BPM processes
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• English language proficiency at B2/C1 level

Nice to have:

• Camunda certification
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript)
• Experience with other databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) in the context of business process integration
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies including participation in sprints, planning, and retrospectives

• Designing and developing business applications in Java / Spring Boot environment
• Implementing and integrating processes in Camunda 8 (Zeebe, Operate, Tasklist)
• Creating Camunda workers and plugins
• Integrating processes with external systems using REST API, External Tasks, and event-driven architecture
• Working with databases, mainly MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Maintaining high code quality including code reviews
• Containerizing and deploying applications using Docker and Kubernetes
• Automating CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
