Full Stack Engineer: Agent Tools (Remote)

Constructor is the next-generation platform for search and discovery in ecommerce, built to explicitly optimize for metrics like revenue, conversion rate, and profit. The search engine is entirely invented in-house utilizing transformers and generative LLMs, powering search, recommendations, and shopping agents. It handles over 1 billion queries daily across 150 languages and roughly 100 countries, used by major ecommerce companies such as Sephora, Under Armour, and Petco. Constructor is a U.S. based company founded in 2019 by Eli Finkelshteyn and Dan McCormick.

• Strong proficiency with React and Typescript.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, e.g., Playwright.
• Knowledge of API design and integration patterns.
• Backend experience using any popular framework (preferably Python ones).
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud deployment workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in remote environments.

• Build products that turn advanced AI models into real, usable e-commerce experiences.
• Develop dashboards to configure and manage AI models.
• Create reusable UI libraries for customers to integrate AI-powered discovery features into storefronts.
• Work closely with core AI/ML teams to deliver scalable, configurable solutions enhancing the shopper journey.
• Launch and maintain multiple services enabling other teams to build features on top.
• Collaborate closely with multiple teams to coordinate efforts and ensure smooth cross-functional delivery.
