Software Architect

Morizon-Gratka Group is seeking a Software Architect to play a key role in designing and developing modern technological solutions supporting their digital products. The role involves combining deep technical knowledge with strategic thinking and collaboration with business and product teams. The architect will influence system architecture, technology standards, and platform development serving millions of users.

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing web system or backend architectures.
• Strong knowledge of web system architecture including HTTP, REST API, cookies, CDN, and caching.
• Experience with modern web technologies: Elasticsearch, PHP, Node.js, React.js, Vue.js.
• Experience designing distributed and microservice systems with patterns like Event Sourcing and CQRS.
• Deep knowledge of Symfony ecosystem for building complex headless or microservices applications.
• Experience designing scalable and highly available systems.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders.
• Higher education in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have:

• Experience designing architecture in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing).
• Familiarity with Go, Elixir, Erlang, or other functional programming languages.
• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture approach.

• Designing and developing scalable system architecture.
• Defining and maintaining architectural, code quality, and security standards.
• Providing technical advice and support to development teams.
• Participating in strategic technology decisions including technology and tool selection.
• Identifying and designing solutions to improve system performance and scalability.
• Collaborating with product and business teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Co-creating and overseeing implementation of system and data security standards.
• Promoting engineering culture through architectural best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
