GoLang Software Engineer

We are an e-commerce platform in Poland and a network of travel agencies offering a wide range of travel products. We are part of Wirtualna Polska Holding – Poland’s largest group of media and e-commerce companies. • Strong experience with Go (Golang) and building microservices-based systems.
• Ability to thrive in an environment with dynamically changing priorities, focusing on problem-solving and outcomes rather than fixed task lists.
• Hands-on knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Solr, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with processing large volumes of data, including importing and transforming big XML files.
• Solid understanding of modern infrastructure, including cloud environments, scalability, and high availability (HA).
• Experience working on high-traffic, complex products with real-world performance and reliability challenges.
• Travel market experience is a plus.

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and robust solutions using GoLang for global platforms delivering solutions for customers in European markets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features and improvements.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Drive the adoption of best practices and new technologies to continuously improve development processes and products.
