Delivery Manager

The company consists of four development centers, each with its own back-office and operations team. The Delivery Manager will join one of these centers and manage multiple client projects ranging from small engineering teams to large multi-workstream multi-year Managed Service engagements.

• Experience in admin and operations work
• Detail-oriented and disciplined
• Comfortable managing SOWs, budgets, and costs
• Ability to think on feet under pressure and make business-minded decisions
• Readiness to overlap with US working hours until at least 11am PT and be available until 2-3pm PT during escalations or high season
• Eager to participate in presales and sales activities
• Understanding of AI’s impact on productivity and ability to work with development tools
• Background as a Scrum Master or Project Manager is a plus

• Manage one or more client projects, initially focusing on a large enterprise client
• Oversee multiple engineering teams of varying sizes (3-50 people), potentially distributed across Central Europe and Latam
• Partner with Staffing to assemble project teams and support team onboarding
• Coordinate and send first-day onboarding communications
• Ensure teams deliver according to client KPIs, milestones, and contractual commitments
• Coordinate and send end-of-assignment or offboarding communications
• Ensure all projects are operationally sound and meet Akvelon quality standards, as well as internal financial and operational KPIs
• Monitor and follow up on invoice submission and timesheet compliance
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across business units and delivery centers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information in JIRA
• Develop close, collaborative relationships with Sales partners responsible for the accounts under your delivery ownership
• Maintain and update Theodolite with relevant project and delivery information
• Promote adoption of AI and productivity tools within engineering teams and advise clients on best practices
• Maintain and update ETS with required project and operational data
• Actively participate in presales activities, including supporting or leading internal technical and operational initiatives
• Walk a fine line between the priorities of different stakeholders, keeping everyone satisfied
• Manage SOWs, budgets, and costs
• Think on your feet under pressure and make smart, business-minded decisions
• Overlap with US at least until 11am PT regularly and be available until 2-3pm PT during escalations or high season
• Participate in presales and sales activities, from proposal preparation to client pitches
