Middle Software Engineer (Any Back-End language)

• 2+ years of work experience in Java, any JVM language, PHP, C++, Scala, or Lua.
• 2+ years of experience building secure scalable web services.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with RESTful services.
• Good understanding of network stack and HTTP protocol.
• Experience with concurrency, multithreading, or asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of data modeling in SQL and/or NoSQL environments.
• Experience with any combination of AWS, Redis, Kafka, and Cassandra is a plus.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience is a plus.

As a Software Engineer in the Server Engineering team, collaborate with engineering and Mobile Operators to build a network stack supporting millions of users. Track solutions from design through implementation, owning every step. Strive for deep understanding of core technologies while building redundancy and establishing best practices.
