Senior Manager: Data Science

Emerge is a global fintech group with 15 years on the market, operating across 3 continents with 100 people onboard, 90%+ at senior level, and handling 50 million transactions daily for a mobile wallet.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer.
• 4–6+ years in applied data science, with at least 2+ years of owning production AI/ML environments.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a non-traditional FinTech, Banking, or Financial Services sector.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SAS, alongside Big Data technologies and SQL.
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to present complex insights to executive-level stakeholders.

• Lead the end-to-end development and production ownership of ML models (Predictive, Propensity, Churn, and Scoring).
• Transform large-scale datasets into actionable commercial strategies across multiple fintech verticals.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to scale AI solutions across diverse global markets.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing team of data scientists to achieve operational excellence.
