Wymagania
- 3+ years of experience in DBA role or similar
- High level of SQL Server expertise, preferably Microsoft certified
- Experience with the latest SQL versions and features such as Columnstore, querystore, extended events, and partitioning
- Proficiency in performance tuning, diagnosing query execution plans, and analyzing wait statistics
- Background in clustering and multi-site availability groups
- Knowledge of Cohesity and CommVault SQL backups for availability groups
- Skills in automating DBA practices using TSQL and PowerShell
- Familiarity with SCOM and ITIL documentation
- Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2)
Obowiązki
- Assist in specifying and sizing new servers, including installation, configuration, and upgrading of SQL Server software and products
- Apply SQL patches as they become available
- Monitor and maintain system health and availability of all databases, resolving downtime promptly
- Ensure security access to servers/databases follows the principle of least privilege
- Implement a complete backup solution to meet current RTO and RPO objectives
- Monitor server and database performance, including index maintenance and consistency checks
- Restore lower-level environments from production backups as needed
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for patch applications or system installations
- Support other teams in resolving SQL Server performance issues
- Assist non-IT teams with programming issues related to SQL Server
- Resolve DBA-related tickets from the Service desk
- Support MDS, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI environments as required
- Automate processes to minimize workload
