Cloud Architect

EXATEL is a Polish telecommunications company with 30 years of experience providing comprehensive telecommunications services across Poland for operators, businesses, and the public sector. The company operates over 23,800 km of network infrastructure and engages in R&D activities in ICT, developing proprietary network devices (SDN) and cybersecurity software (TAMA - proprietary anti-DDoS). EXATEL also offers external client support in SOC and satellite communication services based on its own teleport.

• 3–5 years of experience in IT solution design or architecture, preferably in data center, cloud, or infrastructure areas.
• Practical knowledge of virtualization, containerization, storage, networking, hypervisors (VMware/Proxmox/KVM), and backup solutions.
• Experience working with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud platforms, or Private Cloud environments (OpenStack/VMware).
• Very good skills in creating architectural and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of security, HA/DR, automation, and monitoring.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and conduct business-technical analyses.

Nice to have:

• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) or virtualization/infrastructure management certifications.
• Experience in migration projects (on-premises to cloud).
• Ability to estimate TCO, CAPEX/OPEX costs and build architecture variants.
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and agile methodologies.

• Designing and developing service architecture in the areas of Collocation, Dedicated Server, Private Cloud, and Public Cloud.
• Defining architectural standards, best practices, and design patterns for data center and cloud environments.
• Preparing technical documentation and supervising its consistency.
• Collaborating closely with infrastructure, network, security, product, sales, and maintenance teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Analyzing business requirements and translating them into specific technical solutions.
• Architectural supervision of implementation and migration projects in data center and cloud areas.
• Optimizing costs, performance, availability, and capacity of IT environments.
• Ensuring architecture compliance with security requirements, business continuity, industry standards, and regulations.
