Senior Fullstack Developer (Java+Angular)

Scalo is engaged in an international project for the investment banking sector, focusing on the development and maintenance of business applications with a "you build it, you run it" approach.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fullstack developer with a preference for backend-oriented work (~70%)
• Proficient in Java (17+), Spring Framework (Boot and Batch), Angular (15+), and SQL
• Experience working with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases
• Familiarity with hexagonal architecture
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools: GIT, Docker/Kubernetes, GitHub Actions
• Practice software craftsmanship principles: TDD, BDD, Clean Code, SOLID
• Problem-solving skills and effective team communication
• Fluent English communication skills for an international environment

• Participate in the development and maintenance of business applications for the investment banking sector
• Design, implement, test, and deploy new functionalities
• Work in a Fullstack Developer team within an Agile environment (Scrum, 3-week sprints)
• Apply best practices of Craftsmanship and DevOps including TDD, BDD, Clean Code, and SOLID principles
• Use technologies such as Java 17+, Spring Boot and Batch, Angular 15+, SQL, Oracle/PostgreSQL, hexagonal architecture, GIT, Docker/Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Collaborate with teams located in Warsaw, Paris, and Bangalore
• Work in a hybrid model with 2-3 days per week in the Warsaw office
