Cloud & DevOps Lead - Financial Services

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client is a leading global financial services firm providing investment banking, Global Market and investment management services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments, and high-net-worth individuals.

• 10+ years of professional experience with public cloud services (AWS preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Technical Lead in cloud-native or platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience building secure, scalable, high-availability systems in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud solutions and on-prem integration.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cloud engineers, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Design, develop, and maintain reusable cloud patterns for public cloud (AWS) and hybrid architectures.
• Facilitate migration of existing applications and development of new cloud-native applications.
• Ensure a smooth cloud onboarding experience for developers and drive adoption of best practices.
• Build systems with a “security-first” mindset, ensuring high availability, resilience, and scalability.
• Collaborate with platform teams to define product roadmap and strategic vision.
• Report on migration progress, risks, and key wins to engineering leadership.
• Participate in cloud governance, ensuring all production deployments meet compliance and regulatory standards.

The position is a one-year contract with the possibility to transition into a permanent role.
