Senior QA Engineer

The Live Data Services team collects live statistics from over 30 sports worldwide, supporting a global network of data journalists.

• 4+ years of experience leading quality strategy in complex product teams.
• Product mindset focusing on user experience and business logic beyond just passing test cases.
• Proactive approach, asking questions and defining the path forward without waiting for detailed instructions.
• Clear communication skills to explain technical risks to non-technical team members.
• Experience with Java, test case design, and Postman.

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to turn business ideas into clear, testable user stories.
• Get involved in the design phase to challenge assumptions and identify risks early (Shift Left).
• Build tools, bots, and scripts to improve developer efficiency using AI for test creation and data analysis.
• Perform deep exploratory testing and maintain robust automated checks (Playwright/Cypress) for critical workflows.
• Act as the gatekeeper for quality, validating that new features meet technical standards and user needs.
