Senior Engineer, DevOps

PANDORA’s Digital & Technology Hub in Warsaw is part of the world’s largest jewellery brand, supporting digital innovation and scalable technology solutions for global retail and e-commerce. The Warsaw Hub collaborates globally, including with headquarters in Copenhagen, to build and connect systems powering the global ecosystem.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• Proven track record in building and operating scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, especially within the Azure ecosystem (security, identity, networking, cost optimization).
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline design (Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, or similar).
• Solid experience with Kubernetes (preferably AKS), including cluster provisioning, orchestration, and observability.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, microservices, and API management (e.g., Kong, Azure API Management).
• Strong background in monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or NewRelic.
• Ability to optimize cloud spend, improve deployment speed, and enhance system reliability through automation.
• Security-first mindset with practical experience implementing DevSecOps and security-by-design principles.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-team technical initiatives without direct people management responsibilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and delivering value through technology.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and bringing clarity to complex technical challenges.
• Eager to mentor, share knowledge, and foster a culture of learning and innovation.

• Design, build, and operate high-availability platform services supporting integrations and product teams across Pandora.
• Champion a product mindset to ensure platform services are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
• Embed security and compliance throughout the development lifecycle using DevSecOps practices.
• Define and drive the technical vision and strategy for DevOps, influencing architecture, tooling, and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Engineering Managers, Architects, Product Directors) and external partners (Security, Application Teams).
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance platform performance, developer experience, and operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
