Fullstack Engineer (.NET & Angular) with Data & AI expertise

Sunscrapers is an AI-native data and technology partner for private equity, venture capital, and healthcare. They build proprietary data infrastructure, deploy AI solutions, and own the outcomes. Their clients manage a cumulative $210B+ in assets and stay with Sunscrapers for an average of five years. The company has reorganized around AI and does the same for their clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline) or equivalent experience
• At least 6 years of .NET/C# and T-SQL full-stack development experience
• Experience coding in C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server (T-SQL), REST, Angular, Entity Framework
• AI-forward mindset with practical experience in leveraging LLMs and AI tools to enhance development workflows and application capabilities
• 2 or more years of experience developing and supporting applications hosted in Azure
• 1-2 years of Healthcare or Insurance industry experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of Healthcare EDI transactions is a plus
• Experience working with large data sets and data transformations using ETL tools
• Good understanding of secure coding guidelines and ability to apply them in practice
• Solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills to partner with software developers, QA analysts and engineers, business analysts, data analysts, and production support engineers
• High level of attention to detail and skilled in organizing and prioritizing work
• Ability to produce accurate work while maintaining attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal direction
• Working knowledge of or ability to learn Azure DevOps

• Write clean, scalable, and secure code using T-SQL and .NET/C# programming languages for applications hosted on-prem and in Azure
• Develop front-end and back-end components using Angular, .Net Core, C#, T-SQL, Javascript, Message Queues, and related technologies
• Design, implement, and maintain efficient database schemas, stored procedures, and queries using SQL Server
• Optimize database queries and web code for performance and stability
• Revise, update, refactor, and debug code to troubleshoot errors and improve the code
• Follow Agile methodology of software development, participate in the team’s Agile ceremonies (Standup, Retro, Planning, Refinement, etc.)
• Participate in requirements analysis and refinement – update requirements as needed
• Produce and execute unit tests
• Participate in code reviews and provide as well as incorporate feedback
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce and document scalable and consistent software design and architecture
• Contribute to improving development processes, engineering tools, code quality, automation, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
• Work on Helpdesk Tickets as needed to provide Level 2/3 support
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team
