Senior Data Engineer (AWS)

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a project focused on building and scaling modern data platforms in a cloud-based environment.

• 4–6 years of professional experience in data engineering
• Strong hands-on skills in SQL and Python
• Practical experience working with AWS services (e.g. S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift)
• Good understanding of data architecture concepts and best practices
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g. GitLab) as well as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex data-related problems
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working
• English proficiency at C1 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Proactive attitude and willingness to improve existing solutions
• Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders

• Develop and manage batch data processing pipelines using AWS-based solutions
• Implement efficient data transformations with Apache Spark and SQL
• Design robust data structures to support reporting and analytical use cases
• Maintain high standards of data quality, availability, and system performance
• Identify and resolve issues within data pipelines, ensuring stability and scalability
• Gather and analyze business needs, translating them into effective technical solutions
• Work in a self-organized manner while collaborating with cross-functional teams
