Market Abuse Surveillance Business Analyst

The role supports the implementation of a new surveillance solution within a leading bank, focusing on market abuse monitoring and compliance-driven projects in the financial sector.

• Prior experience with implementation and requirements analysis for automated surveillance systems.
• Experience in markets, products, detection models analysis, calculations, threshold tuning, and calibration.
• Solid data analysis skills.
• Experience managing large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Previous work with Nice Actimize MSE solution and familiarity with the associated data model.
• Proficient in analyzing and sourcing data from authoritative data sources.
• Understanding of capital market products concerning market abuse regulations.

Nice to have:

• Experience working within a compliance function.

• Analyzing detection models and data requirements related to market abuse surveillance.
• Collaborating with technology teams to clarify requirements and address incidents.
• Tuning and calibrating detection models for trade and order surveillance.
• Collaborating with internal and external teams for new developments.
• Participating in and driving internal reviews of model calibration.

This position is based in Warsaw, with Gdańsk as an alternative location option. The work setting is hybrid, with 3 days/week onsite.
