Senior NLP Specialist (K\M)

NASK SCIENCE, operating within NASK, conducts research and development in cybersecurity, computer science, and artificial intelligence. The team develops technologies addressing social and commercial challenges, including detecting misinformation in social networks, nationwide cybersecurity systems, AI algorithms supporting complex surgical operations, identity verification, and sports player movement analysis.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in NLP or machine learning
• Practical knowledge of large language models (LLM) and modern approaches to their use
• Higher education in a technical field
• English language proficiency sufficient for reading technical documentation
• Advanced knowledge of Python and machine learning libraries (TensorFlow and/or PyTorch, NumPy, scikit-learn, pandas)

Nice to have:

• Experience in research and development or prototyping projects
• Experience processing logs, event data, or unstructured data
• Knowledge of cybersecurity issues or analytical systems
• Experience working with system or architectural teams

• Designing concepts for using large language models (LLM), including RAG technology, for text data exploration
• Engineering input data for models in the form of logs/system diaries
• Selecting and evaluating approaches, models, and architectures suitable for processing log/system diary data
• Designing data processing pipelines (preparation, indexing, context search)
• Building prototypes and proof-of-concept NLP/LLM solutions
• Identifying technical risks and limitations related to LLM use in security systems
