Lead Java Developer & Test Automation

Devire Outsourcing IT is a collaboration model dedicated to IT specialists based on self-employment (B2B), delivering projects for leading clients running innovative and modern projects. The client is one of the leading global financial institutions.

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role (technical lead/lead developer).
• Very good knowledge of Java 8+ (Java 17+ preferred).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Advanced practical experience in software testing, including designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot.
• Practical knowledge of REST microservices and APIs.
• Experience working with databases and SQL (Oracle preferred).

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Experience working in a QA team.

• Mentoring a team of engineers and supporting them in achieving goals.
• Supervising the design and development of backend services and microservices using Java 8/11/17.
• Responsible for the team's automated testing strategy, promoting best practices, and overseeing the implementation of automation frameworks to reduce costs.
• Designing solution architectures to reduce costs and complexity through migration to modern integration patterns such as API, Kafka, or microservices.
• Supervising the development and improvement of Straight-Through Processing (STP) functionalities in services.
