Data Engineer

Devire Outsourcing IT is a collaboration form dedicated to IT specialists based on self-employment (B2B), executing projects for clients running innovative and modern projects. The client operates in the insurance industry.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as Data Engineer / Data Developer
• Very good knowledge of SQL and Python programming language
• Experience working with data warehouses / data platforms
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data modeling
• Practical experience in cloud environments (Azure / AWS / OVH)
• Excellent knowledge of Databricks in Azure cloud
• Excellent knowledge of Azure Data Factory
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with business
• Engineering approach to data quality, performance, and security

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture (medallion architecture)
• Experience migrating from on-premise to Databricks
• Knowledge of Cloudera on-premise environment
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum
• Basic knowledge of Data Governance / Data Quality

• Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines (ETL / ELT)
• Integrating data from various sources (transactional systems, APIs, files, warehouses)
• Developing and optimizing data warehouses / lakehouse / data lake
• Ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability
• Collaborating with the data tribe within the organization
• Automating data processing workflows
• Participating in designing data architecture and engineering standards
