Senior UI Designer

• Expert-level skills in Figma, including creating, maintaining, and scaling component libraries, variants, and design tokens.
• Proven experience designing component-based systems such as design systems, style guides, or pattern libraries.
• Solid understanding of typography, color theory, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, WAI-ARIA) and ability to design inclusive, accessible UI patterns.
• Experience collaborating with accessibility specialists, QA, and developers to ensure accessible implementation.
• Ability to create clear, structured documentation for design system usage.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines.
• English proficiency at C1/C2 level (both written and spoken).

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Web Components or framework-agnostic design systems.
• Familiarity with design tokens and how they map to code.
• Motion design or micro-interaction skills.
• Knowledge of responsive design and multi-platform adaptations.
• Contribution to open-source or internal design system projects.

• Design and maintain reusable components, patterns, and layouts in Figma, owning and evolving shared Figma libraries including variants, tokens, and documentation.
• Ensure all components and patterns are accessible by design, following WCAG and inclusive design best practices.
• Collaborate with developers to translate design specifications into framework-agnostic Web Components.
• Provide clear documentation, guidelines, and usage examples for designers and developers.
• Partner with product designers to ensure designs support their needs and real-world use cases.
• Participate in reviews and provide feedback on new component or pattern proposals.

Contract Type: B2B (requires a registered sole proprietorship in Poland). Location: Warsaw, Poland (Remote with occasional visits to the office once per quarter).
