Data Science Manager - Hybrid (Warsaw)

• Experience managing Data Science teams
• A people-first leadership approach and a track record of developing team members
• 5+ years of data science experience with strong statistics and machine learning fundamentals
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree required

Nice to have:

• Knowledge graphs and semantic modeling (RDF, OWL, SPARQL, or equivalent graph frameworks)
• Entity resolution and identity graph experience
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar
• Graph-based or embedding-based methods
• Modern AI methodologies, including RAG

• Lead and grow a team of 4-6 data scientists building knowledge graph and identity solutions
• Translate business challenges into technical roadmaps and oversee end-to-end delivery
• Prioritize people leadership through hiring, clear goals, coaching, and team development
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering on scoping, prioritization, and execution
• Stay hands-on when helpful, supporting model development and technical decision-making
• Champion best practices in code reviews, modular architecture, and documentation
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
