Cloud Engineer/Architect (GCP)

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
• Very good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP certification is a plus)
• Experience designing and configuring cloud services (Compute Engine, GKE) and basics of containerization and orchestration
• Knowledge of cloud-native networking (VPC, peering, firewall, container networks)
• Knowledge of security and governance (IAM, resource management, access control)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting in cloud environments
• Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (modules, variables, versioning)
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (Git, GitLab/Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines)
• Ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work in enterprise environments
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of Linux systems (administration, diagnostics)
• Scripting skills (Bash or Python)
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and GitOps approach
• Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Grafana, ELK, Splunk)
• Knowledge of networking, protocols, and basics of application and network security

• Designing and implementing IT solutions in cloud/hybrid/on-prem models for enterprise clients
• Building and developing cloud platform (landing zone), including standardization, governance, and architecture optimization
• Automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Designing and developing CI/CD pipelines and integrating deployment processes
• Configuring monitoring, logging, and alerting and supporting problem resolution
• Participating in cloud migrations and preparing IT environment transformation plans
• Collaborating with application and security teams to optimize solutions and costs
