SAP BTP CPI Consultant / Integration Architect

Join a strategic S/4HANA implementation program, where you will lead integration activities using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and Clean Core principles. In this role, you will design modern, cloud-compliant integrations and support the transition from legacy middleware to scalable, future-proof solutions. This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), fully remote opportunity within a long-term transformation project.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI / Integration Suite
• Experience in at least 2 S/4HANA implementation projects (integration-focused)
• Strong understanding of Clean Core and SAP BTP extensibility concepts
• Proficiency in API development (REST/SOAP) and integration design
• Experience with Groovy scripting, XSLT, and message mapping
• Knowledge of Integration Suite components (CPI, API Management, Integration Assessment)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in distributed teams
• SAP Integration Suite certification (required)

Nice to have:

• SAP S/4HANA or SAP BTP certifications

• Lead the integration workstream in S/4HANA implementation projects
• Design and implement integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI)
• Build API-first and event-driven integration architectures aligned with Clean Core principles
• Develop and maintain integration flows (iFlows) for S/4HANA connectivity
• Configure adapters (REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, database) supporting business processes
• Implement monitoring, error handling, and governance frameworks
• Support migration from SAP PI/PO to cloud-based integration solutions
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs
