Senior IT Analyst (m/k)

PSE Innowacje is a company established in 2012 by the transmission system operator PSE S.A. Since 2012, it has been conducting analyses and research, including technical and economic analyses, research and development work, building new and developing and modernizing existing IT systems supporting network operation. Its mission is to ensure reliable and efficient operation of the power system in Poland and its continuous development. It is a unit for innovative special tasks in the power industry.

• Higher technical education (computer science, electronics, energy) or economic/mathematical with IT elements.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in system analysis.
• Ability to model designed IT solutions (data, processes) using UML and BPMN notation.
• Ability to define and verify the correctness of mathematical algorithms.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to test and implement IT solutions.
• English language proficiency sufficient for reading technical and business documentation.
• Ability to build client relationships.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Independence, creativity, availability, and good self-organization.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to learn, develop, and curiosity.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the functioning principles of the energy balancing market in Poland.
• Experience cooperating with clients in the power sector.

• Understanding business client needs.
• Specifying requirements for IT systems.
• Modeling processes, use cases, interfaces, and data.
• Designing user interfaces.
• Developing test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
• Preparing test data and acquiring data from other areas.
• Supporting testing.
• Communicating with clients and the IT team.

• Participating in the application servicing process.
