FullStack Developer (JavaScript / CSS / Node JS/ basic Java)

This position is for a Fullstack Developer role on a project for a client from the financial sector. The work is conducted in Kraków with a hybrid model (2 days office, 3 days remote).

• 5+ years of commercial experience in a similar position
• Demonstrable experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Node.js (client and server)
• Awareness of best Accessibility practices and knowledge of how to implement them
• Working knowledge of Unix
• Understanding of databases from a consumer point of view
• Knowledge of HTTP APIs, e.g., RESTful APIs
• Basic knowledge of Java or Kotlin
• Nice to have: UX knowledge and ability to propose improvements to business requirements
• Fluent English

• Participate in all parts of the development life cycle including analysis, testing, and production support
• Work within a team of developers with a dedicated product owner
• Take business requirements, divide them into stories, and deliver each story iteratively to production
• Provide product support as an integral part of the role
• Identify areas of technical debt and ensure a balance between tech debt and new functionality is prioritized and worked on
• Design solutions for new items ensuring adherence to technology guidelines and constraints
• Pair with other members of the team
• Willingness to work also with backend
