Senior PHP Engineer (International Expansion)

Lendable is a UK-based fintech company with over 700 employees, profitable since 2017, and backed by investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs. The company has rebuilt major consumer finance products such as loans, credit cards, and car finance, aiming to expand into the UK and US markets with modern technology.

• Strong experience with modern PHP development (PHP 8.0+).
• Solid grasp of a modern PHP framework such as Symfony or Laravel.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems, Event Sourcing, and CQRS.
• Excellent automated testing skills (unit, integration, functional).
• Strong English language skills (written and spoken).
• High degree of ownership and autonomy.
• Desire to learn, collaborate, and contribute within a highly collaborative team.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and financial systems.
• Experience experimenting with AI tooling to improve productivity.
