Java Developer

Devire Outsourcing IT is a collaboration model dedicated to IT specialists based on self-employment (B2B), delivering projects for leading clients working on innovative and modern projects. The client specializes in cybersecurity solutions.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience programming in Java
• Good knowledge of Java and Spring Framework, including basics of Spring WebFlux (willingness to develop in this area is a plus)
• Experience in creating RESTful APIs
• Experience writing unit tests
• Knowledge of tools and technologies: Docker, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Jira, Jenkins or Bamboo, Grafana
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of principles and concepts: DDD, hexagonal architecture, SOLID, Clean Code, TDD

• Implement new and develop existing REST endpoints based on Spring WebFlux and Java 21+ according to business requirements
• Collaborate in a Scrum team and actively participate in ceremonies (Daily, Refinement, Review, Retrospective)
• Create and maintain unit tests
• Prepare and develop CI processes for new components
• Create and update technical documentation

Work location: remote with occasional presence in the office in Katowice (1-2 days/month)
