Senior DevOps/SRE – Trading Systems

As a Senior DevOps/SRE – Trading Systems, you will be working for our client, a leader in electronic trading, specializing in market making and high-performance financial systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and automation of cutting-edge trading platforms that impact global markets. Localization: Warsaw, city center - hybrid model 3 days x week in the office.

• 4+ years of experience in production engineering, SRE, or DevOps within the financial or trading technology sector.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, or shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of Linux operating systems and internals.
• Strong networking knowledge and experience with high-performance, low-latency systems.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with SRE/DevOps tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop automation solutions.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in Polish and English, with strong command in both languages.

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in financial markets or electronic trading environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

• Develop and maintain scalable, resilient production systems for electronic trading activities.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response processes to optimize system reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to enhance system performance and security.
• Maintain and improve system health dashboards using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing rapid support for live trading systems.
• Implement infrastructure as code using CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Document processes, procedures, and system architecture to ensure operational excellence.
