Firmware Developer

Our client is an established international technology group with a strong engineering culture and a long history of developing advanced solutions for IoT connectivity.

• Higher technical education (electronics, telecommunications, embedded systems, or similar).
• Minimum 3-5 years of commercial experience in embedded firmware development.
• Strong knowledge of C/C++ for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex‑M or similar).
• Experience with communication protocols used in IoT environments (Wireless M‑Bus/OMS, LoRa/LoRaWAN, NB‑IoT, LTE‑Cat M1, GSM).
• Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and work closely with hardware teams.
• Experience with electronic production processes (SMT/THT), hardware/firmware testing, or validation-an advantage.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD for embedded solutions.
• Good English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills, creativity, and ability to work independently.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work under defined deadlines.

• Development of firmware for microcontroller‑based systems (C/C++).
• Implementation of communication protocols used in IoT and Smart City solutions (e.g., Wireless M‑Bus/OMS, LoRaWAN, NB‑IoT, LTE‑Cat M1, GSM‑M2M).
• Participation in testing, validation, and debugging of devices and embedded software.
• Support during product certification and mass‑production launch.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, procedures, and test plans.
• Collaboration with hardware engineers, R&D teams, and external manufacturing partners.
• Contribution to the development and integration of cloud/portal solutions for IoT device management.
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives, introduction of new technologies, and optimization of existing solutions.
