Senior AI Fullstack Engineer

Etera is building the first AI-native corporate travel platform for the GCC market, designed specifically for how businesses in the region operate. The company replaces legacy travel management companies with autonomous agents, real-time inventory, and a modern product experience.

• 5+ years of professional fullstack engineering experience with significant production work in mobile.
• Strong React Native experience including app shipping, build pipeline management, and authentication flows.
• Proficient in TypeScript across mobile, backend, and agent tooling.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or equivalent) including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, and multi-turn context management.
• Experience with AI-augmented development tools such as Claude Code and Codex, including creating, configuring, and orchestrating coding agents.
• Production experience with Mastra agent orchestration framework covering workflows, tool definitions, agent memory, and inter-agent coordination.
• Solid working knowledge of LangChain including chains, retrieval, tool use, memory backends, and backend service integration.
• Ability to operate as a full engineering team member shipping frontend, backend, and AI layers.
• Comfortable working in a lean startup environment with fast cycles, high ownership, and minimal process overhead.
• Strong written English; Arabic or German is a plus.

Bonus Points:

• Prior work with GDS/NDC/travel supplier APIs (Amadeus, Sabre, PKfare, RateHawk).
• Experience building multi-agent AI systems or autonomous workflow orchestration.
• Experience with Voice AI agents (Ultravox, Vapi, ElevenLabs, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with DIFC / UAE regulatory context for SaaS or fintech products.
• Background in security auditing or static code analysis tooling.

• Build and maintain Etera's React Native mobile app, including booking flows, real-time updates, and multilingual UX (Arabic/English).
• Design and extend TypeScript backend services, including booking APIs, supplier integrations (PKfare, RateHawk, Hotelbeds), and webhook orchestration.
• Work with Claude (Anthropic API) and the multi-agent OPUS Prime system to build, tune, and extend AI pipelines for travel intent detection, QA, and automated engineering reports.
• Own the full feature lifecycle from specification to production, including architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Manage infrastructure and reliability aspects such as Firebase Auth (OTP, Apple, Google), EAS Build/TestFlight pipelines, and CI/CD hygiene.
• Participate in security audits and peer code reviews within a small engineering team.
• Build and maintain autonomous multi-agent systems, including defining scope, wiring tools, managing inter-agent communication, and ongoing operation.
• Design evaluation criteria, catch failure modes, and iterate on agent behavior based on output quality.
• Reason about agent behavior across multiple domains such as booking logic, data quality, QA pipelines, code review, and content generation.
• Maintain agent systems over time, addressing prompt drift, tool failures, context window management, and regression testing.
• Integrate agent teams with real product surfaces including APIs, mobile interfaces, and backend workflows.
